Historic Places Display Unit

The Culture, Heritage and Libraries Division has developed a portable display unit describing the importance of historic places in Prince Edward Island.  It consists of 10 bilingual panels (each 7 feet tall) which can be used individually or in various combinations, depending on your available space.

The display helps create awareness of the Prince Edward Island and Canadian Registers of Historic Places, the Standards and Guidelines for the Conservation of Historic Places in Canada, as well as the process involved in having local historic places listed.

Heritage organizations or local museums are welcome to borrow the display for specific events or for a determined period of time.

Contact the Division at 368-5940 or at heritageplaces@gov.pe.ca for more information.
